DTS talk about Artificial Intelligence at the Pontifical Catholic University

Eduardo Aedo, General Manager of DTS; with Julio Queirolo, DTS Lawyer, spoke to the law students of the Pontifical Catholic University in the framework of the Agreement between the education entity and the Ministry of Defense.

It was a master class for all students who are taking the Diploma in Law and Artificial Intelligence at the Catholic University. The exhibitors were the principal subsidiaries of the Strategic Defense Companies (EED), who talk about the Artificial Intelligence (AI) in their current and future technological developments.

In this context, Eduardo Aedo and Julio Queirolo spoke about the main DTS´s guidelines: mission, vision, AI challenges in the defense area and the important role of confidentiality that surrounds it, the different areas of DTS, and how they are related to the development of AI reflected in the production of innovations.

Eduardo Aedo ended the exhibition clarifying that the role of technologies today is not about replacing the human being, but rather complementing him in his functions and tasks. “We are currently experiencing an ‘augmentation revolution’. In this context, we (DTS) are developing technologies to support the human being. We use technology not as an external element to ourselves, but rather as a tool to confront reality”, he said.
