Estado Mayor Conjunto of the Armed Forces visits DTS and suggests new technological challenges

Recently, we had the visit of the Joint General Staff of the Chilean Armed Forces (Estado Mayor Conjunto (EMCO)), an advisory organism of the Chilean Ministry of Defense. EMCO started conversations with DTS to learn more about the different areas and developments in new technologies in which DTS has been involved. During the visit, our EMCO guests learned about our capabilities, and suggested innovative challenges in three-dimensional simulation and e-learning training.

Representing this important Chilean defense organization, we were visited by the Director of Strategic Command and Control (DIMCO), Air Brigadier General (DA) Gonzalo Opazo Drouillas, in company of the Head of the Department of Information Technologies, Aviation Colonel (TI) Cristian Barría Lincomán and the Chief of the Strategic Command and Control Section, Captain Otto Hinrichsen Hills.

Rubén Castillo, as Deputy General Manager of DTS; Jorge Coddou, DTS Corporate Account Manager; Sergio Vásquez, Sales Manager of the Defense area and Alfredo Tapia, Account Manager served as guides for our guests who reportedly obtained an excellent impression of the innovation technologies in which DTS has been working.

“We found the tour very interesting; we really liked the innovation and the Pillán simulator as an integrated system. We can take advantage of the development of radars, capacities, related capacities and implementation, and also, of everything related to e-learning to gradually train the personnel who arrive at EMCO” explained General Gonzalo Opazo Drouillas, Director of Command and Control EMCO Strategic.
